A cosy evening with cheese and friends inspired by this much-loved Alpine tradition!
Join us for Raclette Night every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening throughout the winter months in our transformed Long Room in the Courtyard—a snug little den perfect for warming up with friends or hosting an alternative Christmas gathering with colleagues.
Your raclette will be served with baby potatoes, freshly baked artisan bread, pickles, crisp salad, and locally sourced cured meats, followed by dessert. This traditional Alpine dish was originally enjoyed by cheesemakers to stay warm during long winters.
This season, our friends at Rennet and Rind have put a washed-rind twist on the classic French raclette using Ogleshield cheese. Made by Jamie Montgomery from his own herd of Jersey cows, this British cheese has a supple, melt-in-the-mouth texture and a deeply savoury, slightly sweet flavour. Its orangey-pink rind, developed through regular brining, recently won a Bronze medal at the 2023 World Cheese Awards.
A curated selection of wines are also available to accompany your raclette (not included in ticket price).
Arrival is from 5pm, with last sit down at 8pm | Cost: £50 per person
