How it works
A spa day that's never shared.
We don't sell day passes. You book the whole spa for your group, from one person to ten: pool, whirlpool, sauna, lounge and terrace. Robes, towels and herbal teas are waiting when you arrive.

Ages 16+ (16 and 17 year olds with an adult). There's no lifeguard, so everyone should be a confident swimmer.
Spa days
Book the spa to yourselves.
Pick 2.5 or 4 hours and a date, and pay online. Prices cover up to four; extra guests are £60 each, up to ten.

Float. Listen. Let go.
A 90‑minute floating sound bath after hours: lie back in the warm pool while crystal bowls play, then unwind with tea, the sauna or another dip.
Please note: the sessions are not normally suitable for people with seizures, epilepsy, heart conditions, sound sensitivity such as tinnitus, or those in the early stages of pregnancy. If you have any concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before attending.

Can I just come for a swim?
No. The pool is only available as part of a private spa day, which is what makes it so quiet when you're here.
Can I book a treatment without a spa day?
Yes. Every treatment can be booked on its own from the treatments page. If you'd like the pool and sauna too, add a spa day.
What should I bring?
Swimwear. Robes, towels, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryers are all provided. For Float & Sound, bring your own towel and spa shoes.
How do I find the spa and where do I park?
Follow the signs to the Bean Theory car park, then follow the coffee shop signs until you see the house on your left, about five minutes' walk. Press the intercom at the gate and we'll buzz you in. Blue Badge holders, email us and we'll arrange closer parking.
Is there an age limit?
The spa is for adults. Guests aged 16 and 17 are welcome with a responsible adult. It isn't suitable for babies or children because of the temperatures.
I'm pregnant. Can I visit?
Yes, after your first trimester. We have treatments designed for pregnancy; email the spa if you're unsure whether a particular one is suitable. The sauna and whirlpool aren't advised during pregnancy.
Is the spa accessible?
Partly. There's a ramp into the spa, but the pool is entered by steps without handrails, the relaxation lounge is down a spiral staircase and the terrace has steps. Please bear this in mind when booking, and email us if you'd like to talk it through.
Is the pool lifeguarded? How deep is it?
There's no lifeguard, so everyone in your group should be a confident swimmer. The pool is 8 feet at its deepest point.
Can we bring cake, fizz or balloons for a birthday?
Tell us it's a birthday and we'll help you celebrate. We can provide balloons, or you can bring your own. Fizz can be added to your booking; outside alcohol isn't permitted.
