Step into the enchanting world of Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows with Illyria Theatre, set against the stunning backdrop of our hillside amphitheatre!
Timid Mole dreams of exploring the world, Gruff old badger craves peace and quiet, and Rat quite likes summer picnics and messing about in boats. But their idyllic lives are disrupted when Toad, ever the extravagant character, announces his latest obsession: a gypsy caravan. Generous, exciting, and a tiny bit boastful, Toad’s reckless love for motor-cars pushes his friends to the limit. Now, the Riverbank animals must band together to save Toad from himself and reclaim his home from the opportunistic stoats and weasels who have taken over.
We’re thrilled to welcome the multiple award-winning Illyria Theatre back to Waresley for this magical summer adventure, suitable for all ages.
