Wedding FAQs

Food & Drink

Can we choose our own caterers?

We ask that you use one of our preferred caterers for your arrival requirements and wedding breakfast to ensure that your day runs perfectly. They will cover all aspects of your catering and service needs. We are however open to alternative suppliers coming on-site for your evening catering, and happy to make recommendations for food trucks. Please contact us to discuss this in more detail.

Do you have a licensed bar?

We apply for a temporary event notice in order for us to supply alcohol for your event and can supply anything from beers, wines and spirits to custom cocktails designed for your event by our partner Ginporium.

Do you have parking?

Fireworks & Chinese Lanterns are prohibited.

Do you allow confetti?

Yes, but please note we only allow fresh or dried petals.

Do you provide the marquee or structure?

We have chosen not to provide a marquee or structure so that you can choose a style that reflects your personality and suits the needs of your wedding. We do ask that you chose a supplier from our list, as they know the site and we have worked with them previously.

What is the capacity of the site?

We have a capacity of 150 for our main marquee site, but can accommodate more guests at other locations and for your evening celebration. In certain areas such as down by the lake we can host up to 2000 people!

Is there power throughout the site?

There is a 32amp three phase supply available to use in most locations, however we would recommend hiring a generator to suit your specific power requirements. Our planning team can help coordinate this.

Is there water available at the marquee site?

Fresh running water is available throughout the site.

Do you provide toilets?

We don’t provide toilets, however, either your chosen marquee company or our team can arrange these for you.

What about rubbish?

Included within your hire fee is the disposal of your rubbish and recycling, but this must be collected and bagged up at the end of the event.

What time does the party finish?

Loud amplified music must finish at 11:30, however, quieter background music may continue until midnight. We ask that all guests not staying on site must leave by midnight.

What support do you offer?

Whilst we are not wedding planners, our venue manager can help assist you with suppliers we recomend and are on hand to help where we can.

What happens if it rains?

We always have a contingency plan in place for outdoor ceremonies and drinks receptions, to ensure that the weather has minimal effect. The main marquee site also has good drainage, as it is situated at the top of a hill with sandy soil.
