Stay the night · The Cottage
A cottage of your own.
A black‑and‑white Victorian cottage on the edge of the parkland, with a wood burner, two bedrooms and its own front door. Sleeps four, twenty minutes from Cambridge, with the spa, lake and padel courts a short walk away.
The Cottage
Small, warm and entirely yours.
White walls, dark timbers, leaded windows and a tall brick chimney: the cottage looks like it has always been here, tucked against the trees with the parkland running out in front. Inside it's warm and uncluttered, with a wood burner set into a stone fireplace, a sitting room with a bay window and a proper kitchen to cook in.
It suits two couples, a small family, or friends who'd rather have a kitchen and a fire than a hotel room. A view with a room, with a fireside thrown in.
The setting
On its own, at the edge of the parkland.
The cottage sits by itself against the woods, with fenced paddocks and the parkland running out in front. It's quiet, it's private, and the lake, the spa and the courtyard are still a short walk away.
- Its own front door and garden gate
- Parking right outside
- A short walk to the lake, spa, padel and Bean Theory
Inside the cottage
Two floors, two bedrooms, one fire.
Downstairs is for sitting by the fire and eating together. Upstairs, under the eaves, are a double room, a twin room and the bathroom.

Eating in, or not
Cook by the fire, or walk up for pizza.
The kitchen is there for a slow breakfast or a Sunday roast, with things from the farm shops nearby. When you'd rather not cook, the courtyard pizza oven runs Wednesday to Saturday, and Bean Theory roasts its coffee on site and opens every morning.
- Double and twin bedrooms, premium linen and toiletries
- Sitting room with a wood burner, logs provided
- Full kitchen and a dining table for four
The estate
Step outside your door.
The private spa, the swimming lake and lakeside sauna, two padel courts, the gym and the tipi are all a short walk away. Everything is booked separately, so nothing is bundled and nothing is compulsory.
